Since 2019, COMESSA has been committed to reducing its carbon footprint, with the target of neutrality carbon achieving by 2035 (Scopes 1 & 2).
Positive results
Investments have been made since then and have already enabled us to reduce our emissions by 50 % in 5 years.
In 2024, the installation of a solar power plant enabled us particularly to achieve a self-consumption rate of over 30 % and to compensate the equivalent of our annual consumption by feeding fully carbon-free electricity back into the grid.
The electrification of our production tools has also contributed to a significant reduction in our carbon footprint.
Positive results achieved over the last 5 years are the result of a proactive and ambitious strategy that will continue over the coming years.
Furthermore, COMESSA is committed to offering its customers the most thermally efficient solutions by incorporating waste heat recovery systems (recycling, heat exchangers, heat pumps, etc.) and by providing solutions with a reduced carbon footprint.
